Just a quick reminder that there will be NO classes during Half Term (Mon 25th - Fri 29th Oct 2010). This is a slight change to the original plan to just run one class.

Remember classes can be joined at any time, and you only pay for any classes remaining. In other words if the 10 weeks started 2 weeks ago then you pay for 8 :-) so don’t let that put you off joining !!!

Plus of course the Tuesday yoga is a donation based class with a suggested donation per week of £3.50 -£4.00

The first week of yoga classes are COMPLETELY FREE! If you have ever fancied trying yoga then come along and give it a go! All equipment is provided - just bring yourself!

Free classes will be as follows:

11am - noon

Monday 20th September @ Alnwick Squash Club
12 - 1pm

6 - 7.15pm

You will be pleased hear that Northumberland Yoga is now the home of True Power Yoga UK I had a wonderful time, absolutely adore all the people I met in LA and am VERY excited to bring True Power Yoga accross to the UK.

I will be starting True Power classes in Alnwick and Newcastle to begin then embarking on a national workshop tour.

The classes for the summer term are all 10 weeks and are as follows,

Saturday - Alnwick - The Squash Club - 1 st May (Sam)

Pilates 10 - 11 (levels 1-2)

True Power Yoga 11 - 12 (levels 3-4)

Tuesday - Amble - Dovecote Centre 4th May (Tracey)

Core Strength - 6 - 7 (levels 1-2)

Yoga 7 - 8 (levels 1-2)

Wednesday - Wooler - Cheviot Centre - 5th May (Tracey)

Personal Training - 6 - 7 (levels 1-2 and 3-4)

Yoga - 7 - 8 (levels 1-2)

Thursday - Alnwick - Lindisfarne Middle School - 6th May

Pilates 5 - 6 (levels 1-2)

Pilates 6 - 7 (levels 1-2)

Vinyasa Yoga 7 - 8 (levels 1-2)

There are classes planned the week before for existing students, unless I am stuck in LA !!!!!! Keep an eye on the website just in case

Note there is a slight change in that classes will now have recommended levels, essentially this means the toughest stuff will happen on a Wed and a Sat, the other classes will be accesible by all levels

Vinyasa Yoga (Levels 1 - 2)
Flowing dynamic yoga practice with focus on alignment and breathing
techniques.

True Power Yoga (Levels 3 - 4)
A stronger dynamic form of yoga inspired by both traditional Indian
Ashtanga and the Californian yogis.

Pilates (Levels 1 - 2)
A progressive Pilates class adjustable to anyone’s needs. Ideal for
recovering from injury, strengthening backs and overall toning.

Personal Training (Levels 1 - 2 & 3 - 4)
A chance to work in a small select group (max 8 people) with a personal
touch. All exercises will be adjustable to your needs.
